Wilson has held leadership posts with the company’s filtration and under hood groups for 14 years, and has most recently served as president of Affinia’s Global Filtration Group.
He has been transitioning to the president and CEO positions since last October when McCormack announced his intention to retire.
Wilson and his executive leadership team will lead Affinia from the company’s new headquarters in Gastonia, North Carolina.
