Loeffler takes over from Chuck Gordon, who is leaving Siemens to join Heckmann Corp as president and chief operating officer.
“Lukas Loeffler has extensive technical experience and great integrative capability,” said Jens Wegmann, CEO of Siemens Industry Solutions. “His expertise will help him to continue strengthening our position in the international water business.”
Since 2005, Loeffler has headed up the Siemens Infrastructure Logistics Business Unit, based in Arlington, Texas.
“In his new position, Lukas Loeffler is taking over responsibility for a business that serves the world’s most exciting and attractive markets. For this challenging position we are pleased to have found an adept manager with international experience who will be able to decisively set the course for Siemens Water Technologies,” added Wegmann.
