New central laboratory for Modern Water

Modern Water says that by expanding its team both in the UK and abroad it was necessary to have a dedicated centre for technology development and when doing this it made sense to relocate to Cambridge - a core technology centre in the UK.Cambridge is now the centre of Modern Water’s laboratory facilities across Europe and Asia. Modern Water’s monitoring and desalination divisions each have a separate laboratory at the new site. Aguacure, the chemical-free water and wastewater treatment system, and other technologies that Modern Water is currently developing will also be situated in the same building.Modern Water’s chief executive, Simon Humphrey commented: “The new facilities we are officially opening today will allow us to fully support the continued growth of Modern Water and provide the opportunity for enhanced customer service across our ever expanding product range. Locating all our European research and development in one location provides the opportunity for cross fertilisation of ideas across the whole business.”
