The name change reflects ProMinent’s profile as a supplier of complete solutions. While the roots of the Heidelberg-based family business lie mainly in solenoid metering pumps, the company now has a portfolio of products and systems in both metering technology and water treatment.
The new name is intended to strengthen the ProMinent brand in the global market. ProMinent also believes that it will benefit international customers, making it easier to remember the company name in all languages.
The German distribution company ProMinent Deutschland GmbH, which was set up last year, is unaffected by the change of name.
