In this role, it will help prepare master’s degree candidates in its international pharmaceutical engineering programme.
Merck Millipore is the only filtration and separation company invited to participate in the course. Professionals from the company will teach a module on quality and production processes, focusing on sterilizing filtration, aseptic processing and critical filter validation.
The programme, which was established in 2006 with the help of the US Food and Drug Administration, helps candidates gain a deeper understanding of pharmaceutical research and development, manufacturing and regulatory agencies in China.
“It’s a privilege for Merck Millipore to collaborate with top pharmaceutical companies and regulators in delivering a curriculum to advance industry best practices in China,” said Jean-Paul Mangeolle, head of Merck Millipore’s process solutions business.
