Singapore-based Memsift Innovations Pte Ltd has entered into a strategic partnership with Beijing China Science Resources and Environmental Technology Co Ltd (CSRE) to work together on solutions for industrial liquid-waste volume reduction, brine treatment, zero liquid discharge and resource recovery in China.
Memsift is the developer and manufacturer of the vapour transfer membrane Stomate and the thermal membrane system TS-30, while CSRE is an environmental technology and service provider for high strength industrial effluents treatment in China, using plate-frame vacuum multi effect membrane distillation (V-MEMD) technology.
The partnership includes a close commercial collaboration between the two companies, optimizing commercial synergies and making use of the complementary geographical presence and client bases in China and the region. It will also allow the companies to conduct joint pilot and commercial projects in China.
Memsift says that its technologies could complement CSRE’s technologies by expanding applications in many industry sectors like radioactive effluents and Chinese medicine.
