John Crane has expanded its European footprint with a new facility in Antwerp, Belgium.

Located close to the Port of Antwerp, the new service centre enhances John Crane’s local service and support network for OEM and end user customers serving oil and gas, power generation, chemical, pharmaceutical production, and general industry markets.

“With its strategic proximity to the Port of Antwerp, this new facility enables us to provide effective and efficient operations for our customers through the reduction of downtime costs and service repairs for mechanical seals, sealing systems, couplings and filtration systems,” said Ruben Alvarez, John Crane executive vice president, Sales and Aftermarket. “This service centre also allows us to support a long-term growth vision by investing in local infrastructure and continuing to develop our talent.”

“The performance and functionality of our customers’ operations depend on us for a highly responsive service to increase uptime, reduce maintenance costs whenever possible and help them maintain environmentally safe operations,” said Sébastian Proença, general manager John Crane France & Belgium. “As part of our commitment to them, we are making it our mission to strengthen our service capabilities around the world and strategically build out our strong global footprint of more than 200 facilities.”
