Hollingsworth & Vose announces temporary surcharge

Advanced materials manufacturer Hollingsworth & Vose (H&V) is implementing a temporary 12% surcharge in the Americas and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Asia) regions.

The surcharge will be effective on all orders shipped on or after 4 April 2022, and will apply to contract and non-contract customers.

The company is blaming global market conditions, including constrained supply chains, inflationary pressure, increased transportation costs and historically high energy rates.

Hollingsworth & Vose says it will regularly review the surcharge at a global business level, with the intention of reducing the charge as market conditions even out.
