The MMS High-Temperature Separator can reportedly reject both ferrous and non-ferrous metal contaminants and fits where headroom is limited. It is designed for choke-feed applications and can handle temperatures up to 350°C.
The unit bolts directly to the in-feed of extruders, injection moulding machines and blow moulding machines, and supports the weight of hoppers and other ancillary equipment. It has a pneumatic rejection mechanism, which results in improved cycling and conservation of good material.
