The NUS GE centre, which will develop technologies and solutions for low energy sea water desalination, water reclamation and water reuse, is the result of US$100 million investment by GE and NUS. It also aims to develop solutions for customers in the power generation field.
The centre will also be collaborating with government and industry in Singapore to assist with solving some of the many water challenges in this region, including water stress in China, India and the Middle East.
