Black Opal, a Canadian water service provider which has been a client of Epuramat since 2009, has also ordered several Box4Water wastewater treatment plants to clean wastewater from remote working sites on Canadian territory performing logging, mining and oil extraction duties.
“We are delighted to have signed this new distribution agreement with Black Opal, which will enable us to reliably establish ourselves on the Canadian market,” said Bogdan Serban, CEO of Epuramat.
“With no access to the public sewer systems, remote work site operators were spending a huge amount of time and money addressing this issue. Epuramat’s Box4Water represents an excellent solution as it offers onsite, cost and energy efficient, chemical free wastewater treatment,” said Russell Entwistle, president of Black Opal Energy Services.
Box4Water features Epuramat’s ExSep (Extreme-Separator) pre-treatment solution which uses fluid dynamics, with no moving parts, to separate solid matter from liquid, enabling wastewater to be more easily and more efficiently processed or recycled. The systems can be used in a variety of municipal and industrial applications, including treating wastewater from remote communities for direct discharge into open surface water, separating oil from water; treating industrial water for re-use, and treating digestate wastewater resulting from biogas production.
