Situated in the heart of a key Canadian mining region, the facility will support growing customer demand, particularly in the copper and gold sectors.
The new service center, which is expected to be fully operational by early 2026, will offer OEM-certified on-site inspections, turnkey service solutions, and off-site repairs. It will service a wide range of mining equipment from pit to port, including crushing, grinding, screening, filtration, flotation, slurry handling, thickening, clarifying, loading and hauling solutions, and chute lining. The center will also offer warehousing capabilities for spare and wear parts.
“The investment decision, announced in September 2024, was very well received by our customers. Metso’s strengthened local presence will enable faster repairs, shorter turnaround times, and increased sustainability by reducing transportation distances. We’re grateful for our customers’ trust, and we remain committed to becoming the preferred service provider in the industry,” said Justin Ayotte, Vice President, Canada Sales and Service at Metso.
