The €70 million order will feature Metso’s Nordwheeler jaw crushing unit, Select SAG and ball mills, TankCell flotation cells in different sizes, HRT high rate thickening units and Larox PF pressure filters, as well as slurry pumps and gold room equipment. Metso will also deliver complete plant engineering and advisory services for installation, commissioning, and training.

“It was important for the Gübretaş Maden Yatırımları AŞ team to select the best technology to ensure top-class performance. We believe that Metso’s proven gold processing technologies will provide this. An additional criterion for us was Metso’s service capabilities and their experienced local team,” said Halit Semih Demircan, general manager of Gübretaş Maden Yatırımları.

“We have worked in tight collaboration with Gübretaş Maden Yatırımları AŞ to develop the best possible flowsheet for processing this deposit’s ore to gold dore and concentrate. Basic engineering for the plant and gold pressure oxidation has already been completed, and we are looking forward to continuing in phase II with equipment deliveries, together with the Gübretaş Maden Yatırımları AŞ team,” said Mert Katkay, regional Minerals sales director at Metso.
