Clear Edge Filtration is expanding the product line offering from its Minnesota plant in the US to accommodate continuing growth and future development plans.
The company is redesigning the Minnesota facility’s product flow and equipment layout, strategically integrating fabrication capabilities within an existing weaving facility.
The expanded plant will add fabrication of liquid filtration media and belting products to its weaving capacity, using state-of-the-art infrastructure and equipment.
Clear Edge, which is part of the Filtration Group, will be controlling production from yarn, to woven media, to fabricated product, all under one roof.
“Clear Edge will be the only company in our space to control yarn to finished fabric to converted item, in the same building, which will allow us to better service our customers,” said Kevin Hardy, VP Sales, Clear Edge Americas.
Meanwhile Clear Edge Filtration’s Tulsa, Oklahoma site will transition to other existing facilities over the coming months.
“At Clear Edge we are on a mission to make the world safer, healthier and more productive,” said Nikhil Tamhane, general manager, Clear Edge Americas.
“The strategic integration of our weaving and fabricating capabilities allows us to harness the power of world class weaving, married with exceptional fabrication, all positioned under one roof to better service our customers. Ultimately, with continued customer collaboration we are able to take more of our mission to more places.”
Clear Edge, has manufacturing facilities, laboratories and customer service in more than 20 countries.
