Donald Naab has joined North Tonawanda, New York-based process and filtration equipment manufacturer Ascension Industries Inc as president.
In his new role, Naab will oversee Ascension Industries’ daily operations, input strategic direction and market penetration and become a member of the company’s board of directors.
Naab most recently served as president and CEO of Danotek Motion Technologies, a Michigan company focused on the wind energy market.
Naab takes over as president from Jack Kopczynski who will remain CEO and chairman of Ascension Industries. Jack Kopczynski is the son of the company founder John F Kopczynski Sr.
Ascension Industries is the result of the 2001 merger of North Tonawanda companies St Mary Manufacturing Corp and Ascension Sheet & Metal Fabrication Inc.
