Andritz has received an order from Berneck SA to supply a pressurized refining and evaporation system for its third MDF production line in Lages, Brazil.
The new MDF production line will include the first Andritz MDF effluent treatment evaporation plant to be installed in Brazil.
The centerpiece of the new line will be the pressurized refining system including an S2064M refiner with a capacity of 1150 t/d, which will process 100% softwood (Pinus elliottii & Pinus taeda) as raw material.
Start-up of the new equipment is scheduled for the end of 2020.
