The company’s expanded presence in Russia will focus on boosting sales and distribution, improving relationships with Russian customers and delivering local customer service, after-sales support, application engineering and training.
The Moscow team will concentrate on core markets, including wastewater transport and treatment, energy-efficient heating, ventilation and air conditioning for residential and commercial buildings, and water solutions for light industry, agriculture and irrigation.
Xylem has been doing business in Russia since 2005 through two independent local distributors for its Lowara, Vogel, Leopold, Flygt, Wedeco, Godwin and Sanitaire brands.
