Bluewater Bio Ltd FilterClear multimedia filtration technology will be used in three Wessex Water projects in the UK to achieve compliance with tighter phosphorus consents, as set by the Water Framework Directive (WFD).
Bluewater Bio will provide a fully automated Tertiary Solids Removal (TSR) plant for schemes located at Winscombe, Sherborne and Rowde.
This is the first time that FilterClear has been deployed at Wessex-operated treatment plants. Bluewater Bio will work directly with Wessex Water and its Tier 1 delivery partners in providing Tertiary Solids Removal filtration plants at all three sites.
These contracts follow on from the company’s recent award for Severn Trent Water at Itchen Bank STW.
