Phase 1 of the plant will have a treatment capacity of 30 000 m3/day and involves an investment of around RMB100 million (S$20 million). When Phase 2 is completed, the plant’s capacity will reach 80 000 m3/day.
The plant will use United Envirotech’s membrane bioreactor (MBR) technology. The underground MBR plant will be similar to the 100 000 m3/day underground MBR plant in Guangzhou City that United Envirotech completed in 2010.
