TBMC is planning to invest approximately Yn500 million in the new production facility which is based in the industrial development area of Shunyi Airport in Beijing. The plant will produce reverse osmosis membrane and assemble membrane elements and is expected to be operational in April 2010.
TBMC is the recently established joint venture between Toray Industries Inc and China National BlueStar (Group) Co Ltd. The new company has a capital of US$35 million and 180 workers and is involved in the production, sales and import and export of water treatment membrane products.
