Siemens’ MemPulse MBR system will be used in the Shenahen Lilang International Jewellery Industry Park (SZLIJIP). The MemPulse MBR system uses a mechanical device which supplies irregular pulses of air, to scour the membranes. This reduces the aeration system energy consumption and descreases operation and maintenance costs. The wastewater treatment system is scheduled to start up by mid 2011.
