Ohio Transmission Corp acquires JCI Industries

Ohio Transmission Corp (OTC) has bought JCI Industries, a provider of pumps, motors, controls, wastewater treatment equipment, field service and remanufacturing to commercial, industrial and environmental customers in the US Midwest.

Headquartered in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, JCI Industries has seven sales and field service locations in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and Arkansas and approximately 150 employees.

“For all of JCI Industries’ team members and customers, OTC will bring additional resources that will allow us to continue our growth and increase opportunities for our team members to widen their skills and continue to offer outstanding  solutions to our customers,” said Robert “Chip” Toth, president of JCI Industries. “Our sales and engineering teams are already leaders in our industry, and we look forward to even more growth now that we are part of the OTC family of companies.”

Toth will continue to lead JCI under OTC ownership.

“This acquisition is an important part of expanding our geographical footprint, equipment and service capabilities,” said Rob Webb, executive vice president of Business Development for OTC. “JCI Industries shares our commitment to be the best service provider we can be and to provide our customers with a one-stop solution with high-quality products and services. We are excited to have Chip and the JCI team as part of our family of companies.”
