Norit and PUB signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) during Singapore International Water Week.
Norit Asia Pacific will look to develop a Norit Airlift Membrane BioReactor (MBR) Megablock validation plant at one of PUB's water reclamation plants.
“Norit is pleased that we have the opportunity to test our system at PUB’s facility, and this further gives substance to our original decision to establish strong HQ and technical operations in Singapore,” said Duane Schlicht, managing director of Norit Asia Pacific.
“We feel that the PUB has both the technical expertise and a futuristic vision that best demonstrate their desire to both test and utilize next generation technology in their facilities and Norit is committed to providing not only innovation but support in a close cooperative environment with the Public Utilities Board,” added Schlicht.
