Newterra buys Crane’s water division

Canadian water treatment systems manufacturer Newterra has acquired the Crane Water business from diversified industrial manufacturer Crane Co.

The acquired business has sales and engineering offices in Trooper, Pennsylvania, and in Venice, Florida, where it also manufactures reverse osmosis (RO) filtration systems. Those locations will continue operations under Newterra.

“One of the keys to our ongoing success is having full control of our processes,” said Newterra president Robert Kennedy. “This acquisition builds on that approach – adding tremendous engineering horsepower to our team, and bringing RO production in-house. It’s an excellent fit with where we’re going as an organization.”
