Afnan joined Headworks BIO Inc. in 2010 as vice-president and process manager for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) division with over 10 years of experience in the water industry in both Europe and the Middle East.Prior to joining Headworks BIO, Afnan worked for two of the largest and most well respected engineering consultants in the industry, MWH in the United Kingdom where he joined as a process engineer and then subsequently at Halcrow in Dubai where he was primarily responsible for developing Halcrow's process capability and process team in the region. During this time he gained significant experience in several advanced water and wastewater technologies, including working on the design and commissioning of MBR, MBBR, and ozone treatment plants.
