The Danish company secured its first order from Yara Marine Technologies earlier this year.
“These new orders mark a commercial breakthrough for our products in the treatment of wet scrubber wastewater containing heavy metals in marine applications,” said LiqTech CEO Sune Mathiesen. “Over the past six months we have been promoting our systems for this application on-shore and off-shore. We are starting to see results from our efforts and we will continue to intensify our sales efforts in this environmentally important application.”
The two companies have entered into a supply agreement for future installations of LiqTech SiC membrane systems for Yara Marine Technologies exhaust gas cleaning systems.
