LiqTech and Grundfos Biobooster sign framework agreement

The agreement has a minimum value of US$450 000 and an initial term of two years. The ceramic discs will be used in Grundfos’s ultrafiltration (UF) systems for water re-use.

Sune Mathiesen, LiqTech CEO, said: “We are very pleased to sign this framework agreement with Grundfos. Grundfos has developed a unique filtration technology based on a rotating principle and we have worked closely together in the development of a ceramic disc to be used in a new product for water re-use.”

“The rotating filtration technology offers great advantages over conventional technologies, and we are convinced that the combination of Grundfos’s unique rotating filtration technology and LiqTech´s durable and well proven Silicon Carbide technology will prove to be a success in several markets for water re-use,” added Mathiesen.
