The Maastricht, Netherlands-based Limburg Filter has been working on new technology to make filter presses safer and to significantly reduce maintenance costs. The company specializes in equipment and chemistry for filtering fluids and wastewater treatment.
The Maastricht Toppers jury, headed by Prof dr Jan Cobbenhagen of the Maastricht Centre for Entrepreneurship, said: “The company is on the verge of a commercial breakthrough due to its knowledge and innovation. In that sense, we reward their research and development efforts as well as encourage them to market their know-how in due time.”
