Trade fair organiser ITE Group Plc’s Turkey office EUF will launch its new show, the IWE Istanbul Water Expo, which will be held from 12-14 March 2015 at Istanbul Fair Center.
IWE Istanbul Water Expo will bring together a range of the latest technologies and developments in sustainable utilization of water resources, water saving, wastewater treatment and recycling on the same platform. IWE is the first and the only B2B event in Turkey focused solely on water and wastewater industry.
All necessary technology under one roof
Water extraction, water treatment, wastewater treatment, water storage, transportation and distribution, all the necessary technology, systems and equipment for process control and automation will be showcased in IWE. The show hopes to provide the best opportunities for suppliers and exhibitors to meet decision makers from Turkey, the Middle and Near East, the Balkans, Russia and the CIS Nations, Eastern Europe and the North African markets. IWE’s concurrently held Smart Water Conference will bring together the decision makers of governmental and private institutions to discuss solid business and partnership opportunities.
A trade fair for US$50 billion USD Turkish water market
Turkey is one of the major markets of the world for water and wastewater solutions according to EU reports. According to EU Integrated Environmental Approximation Strategy for Turkey (2007-23), Turkey’s environmental investment exceeds € 58.5 billion where an estimated € 33.9 billion will be invested until 2023 for the new and rehabilitation projects. 50% of Turkey’s environmental expenditures goes to wastewater treatment investments, 460 new wastewater treatment projects will be implemented until 2023 and 534 existing wastewater treatment plants need rehabilitation.
