H2O Innovation will deliver nanofiltration membrane systems for the production of drinking water from surface water sources to two Canadian municipalities in Rivière-Verte, New Brunswick and Sutton, Quebec.
Under a third Canadian municipal contract, H2O Innovation will supply a nanofiltration membrane system to Saint-Adolphe-d'Howard, Quebec, expanding the drinking water production capabilities of the municipality’s existing nanofiltration system, initially designed and manufactured by H2O Innovation.
H2O Innovation will also deliver a brine minimization system for the East Cherry Creek Valley Water & Sanitation District’s Northern Water Supply Project in Colorado, USA. The city of Sterling, Colorado has also selected H2O Innovation to supply a nanofiltration membrane system that will produce softened water.
As part of another contract, H2O Innovation will design, fabricate, and deliver a reverse osmosis membrane filtration system to a US industrial end-user in the energy and power generation sector.
“With demand from the North American industrial market remaining high, we are particularly pleased to observe that approximately two-thirds of the total value of the contracts announced today come from the US and Canadian municipal markets,” said Frédéric Dugré, president and CEO of H2O Innovation.
H2O Innovation secured an all-time high of C$17.4 million in new bookings during the fourth quarter of fiscal 2011. These contracts bring H2O Innovation’s sales backlog to a record-high of C$36.6 million at fiscal year-end 30 June 2011.
