The PROflex is configurable using GE’s new online product configurator. It allows customers to select the flow rate required by the application from a range of PROflex Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems. GE has minimized the overall footprint to take up less space and moved key components to the front of the RO for more accessibility.
Applications
The new reverse osmosis (RO) system is suitable for a range of applications including general industrial; power; drinking water; food and beverage; mining; refining and petrochemical industries. The PROflex RO system now is commercially available and is manufactured at Water & Process Technologies in Minnetonka, Minnesota. The plant produces filters, spiral wound membrane elements and equipment across the spectrum of membranes including RO, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration and microfiltration for global water treatment and reuse.
