Expanding the submerged operating window through double-ended filtration

The new product – called Memcor® CSII Ultrafiltration System – features double-ended filtration that Evoqua says delivers a 20% reduction in backwash aeration energy. The company claims that its proven module design enables customers to either reduce footprint by up to 30%, or utilize that new space and increase capacity up to 30%. “The introduction of the Memcor® CSII Ultrafiltration System presents yet another major advancement in the Memcor product line and underscores our 30-year heritage of innovation and continued commitment to meet our customer’s needs,” said Ben Soucy, vice president/GM of Evoqua’s Memcor® products.

“CSII will help municipalities drive down ownership costs of submerged membrane filtration and allow them lower-cost capacity expansion, or reduce footprint by up to 30%,” added Soucy.
