Singaporean-Australian water and wastewater treatment company De.mem Ltd has won its sixth contract through its recently acquired subsidiary Akwa-Worx.
De.mem will deliver and install two water treatment systems for St Hillier’s A$6 million Shoalwater Bay Training Area Vehicle Wash Point Facility project in Northern Queensland.
The A$550 000 contract brings the total value of contracts won since De.mem acquired Akwa-Worx to around A$1.1 million.
One of the systems for the St Hillier’s project will use reverse osmosis (RO) membranes and the other will be based on dissolved air floatation (DAF). De.mem will employ its advanced automation technology in both systems and provide operations and maintenance for a year following handover.
Singapore-headquartered De.mem expanded into Australia in September when it acquired Akwa-Worx, a provider of water and wastewater treatment systems based in Queensland, Australia.
