Amiad wins water safety accreditation

The products have been certified by NSF International, a US-based independent public health and safety accreditation organisation, as meeting the requirements of ‘NSF/ANSI Standard 61 – Drinking Water System Components – Health Effects’ for 2015.

Extensive testing was carried out to determine what contaminants may migrate or leach from a filtration system into drinking water. The accreditation confirms they are within the maximum levels allowed to be considered safe for human consumption.

The key product lines that have received the certification are across Amiad’s AMF range based on automatic self-cleaning microfiber technology for water filtration as fine as 2 micron and its SAF and EBS ranges based on automatic self-cleaning screen technology for water filtration as fine as 10 micron.

“This certification is testament to the high caliber of our products, technologies and manufacturing processes. We will be proud to display the NSF mark on our products,” said Arik Dayan, CEO of Amiad Water Systems.
