Alfa Laval has won an SEK95 million order to supply ballast water treatment systems to a shipowner in Turkey.
The order comprises 33 Alfa Laval PureBallast 3 systems, including deckhouses and a service agreement.
The ballast water systems will be installed throughout the shipowner’s fleet with deliveries scheduled from 2019 to 2021.
Alfa Laval PureBallast is a chemical-free technology, sold and serviced by Alfa Laval. A vital component of PureBallast is the enhanced UV reactor, which was developed jointly by Alfa Laval and Wallenius Water based on Wallenius Water technology.
