His immediate focus will be on consolidating market opportunities for ACWA’s solutions for water quality, wastewater and water reuse.
Kassim, who was previously chief operating officer at desalination and wastewater solutions specialist Aqualyng, brings more than 18 years of water industry experience to his new role. Prior to Aqualyng, Kassim served as client representative for Palm Water in Dubai managing the development of a range of water infrastructure projects on the UAE Palm Jumeriah archipelago.

ACWA, which is currently celebrating its 30th year in business, is also establishing a new division solely focussed on new product and technology development.
