Shandong Puri Filter & Paper Products, which produces transportation filtration media, has a plant in Binzhou in Shandong province in northeastern China and employs 170 people.
The acquisition of Shandong Puri Filter & Paper Products is part of Ahlstrom’s growth strategy in Asia.
Jan Lång, Ahlstrom president & CEO, said: “Together with our plant in Hyun Poong, South Korea, the acquisition enables us to grow our market share in the Asian transportation filtration market”.
