Andritz is to provide pulp dewatering and white liquor plant technologies and key process equipment for Sun Paper's new pulp mill in Beihai, China.
The Andritz scope of supply includes a wet lap system, a white liquor plant, an evaporation plant and an ash re-crystallization (ARC) system.
The 10 500 m3/d white liquor plant comprises major recausticizing equipment and an Andritz LimeKiln. The recausticizing plant delivery includes a LimeSlake slaker-classifier, three causticizing tank agitators, white liquor filtration with a LimeWhite filter to maximize the white liquor quality, and efficient lime mud filtration with a LimeDry filter.
The evaporation plant delivery includes key equipment and technology with Andritz multiple-effect lamella evaporators.
The new pulp mill is scheduled to start up in the fourth quarter of 2021.
