LiqTech and the end-user have developed a solution around the SiC membranes that reduces the environmental impact from coal and biomass fired power plants.
“Besides providing a cleaner environment, the solution represents a very clear business case with significant operating savings due to reduced annual discharge costs. We believe this solution will reduce the overall environmental impact from coal fired power plants and we are currently targeting the most immediate markets. We expect to see more orders this year from this application,” said LiqTech CEO Finn Helmer.
The Liqtech membranes will be delivered to the customer later this year.
