The generator system from the Innovative Gas Systems affiliate, GENERON IGS, integrates these technologies to reduce the footprint required for a typical nitrogen generator by 25%. The dehydration membranes in the process design eliminate the need for process heaters. This greatly reduces the complexity and operational issues with the current nitrogen generators. Without the need for process heaters the power requirements is reduced to only control voltages needed for the PLC.
Features of the GENERON IGS ultra flow nitrogen generator system include operation in high temperature application of up to 650ºC, nitrogen flow rate of 550-3,150 Nm³/hr, nitrogen purity of 95-99.5%, nitrogen dew points of -570ºC and operating pressures of 6.5 Barg to 14 Barg.
