The Alfa Laval heavy oil treatment systems including various separators and heat exchangers will be installed in the power plant to treat the heavy fuel oil in order to make it suitable for use in the turbines.
“This is the single biggest order for our heavy fuel oil treatment systems and it confirms the increasing demand we see from the power industry,” said Lars Renström, president and CEO of Alfa Laval.
Delivery is scheduled for 2013.
