The Veolia Water Zero Liquid Waste Discharge system will treat mine water from Consol Energy’s Blacksville #2, Loveridge and Robinson Run mining operations.
Construction of the Veolia Water Zero Liquid Waste Discharge system is set to begin this month. Full operation of the treatment facility is expected to start by May 2013.
The agreement includes a 10-year operating partnership with Consol and additional 5-year options to operate the facility.
