Outotec has won a €13 million contract with Emerald Resources NL subsidiary Renaissance Minerals (Cambodia) Ltd to provide process equipment for the greenfield Okvau Gold Project in Cambodia.
The Outotec scope includes the delivery of an Outotec HIGmill high intensity grinding mill, a semi-autogenous (SAG) mill, TankCell flotation cells, an OKTOP conditioner, thickeners and spare parts.
The Okvau Gold Project is located in the Mondulkiri province of eastern Cambodia.
Outotec says that the 2 million tonnes per annum operation will be Cambodia’s first large-scale mining project. Project commissioning is expected in the second quarter of 2021.
