The OptiFil 100 is a new version of the Lenzing OptiFil with the objective of replacing bag filters size 1 or 2. Similar to the standard OptiFil, it has been developed for the fine filtration of particulate impurities (mostly between 1 and 25µm).
Additional flexibility
In addition to the patented regeneration system that features highest backwash efficiency and lowest fluid losses, the filter offers additional flexibility in contrast to the standard model. The distinctive aim of its development was the replacement of an already installed bag filter system without needing any welding works. Only few handling is needed to deinstall the bag filter and replace it with a fully automatic OptiFil - also in high explosive industrial areas with complete piping in stainless steel.
No more than the bag filter manufacturer or two dimensions as well as flange or inner-thread sleeve size are needed at order. The possible applications range from water filtration or cooling lubricant purification to filtration of high or low viscosity media in the chemical industry. It can be operated as depth, cake-building or (by using fabric) as sieve filter.
