Camfil publishes 2012 Sustainability Report

Since 2007, 21% of Camfil’s filter sales volumes for comfort ventilation have been converted into energy-efficient filters. Over the five years, Camfil has cut its own energy consumption by 37% and water usage by 26%. The company has made other significant improvements on waste recycling and waste reduction.

“Camfil was the first air filter manufacturer to launch a sustainability programme and we have been working hard to meet our objectives. After measuring our performance for five years, we can see how our global organization is making Camfil as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible by saving energy, conserving resources and increasing the eco-efficiency of production processes,” said Alan O’Connell, CEO of the Camfil Group.
