A Call for Papers for the 33rd International Activated Carbon Conference (IACC-33) and PACS short courses for next year has been made. The IACC-33 and associated courses will be held at the Courtyard Marriott, Orlando Florida during February 20-21.
One-page, 50 to 300 words abstracts for Oral presentations, poster- or abstract only- presentations are due by January 5, 2014, and those interested should send noticification to Barb@pacslabs.com.

Proposed New PACS Carbon Courses include: Powdered activated carbon mercury control at power plants; Activated carbon at wastewater plants; Computational fluid dynamics uses and applications.
