AAF International buys Baltimore air filtration company

The acquisition expands AAF International’s operational footprint and enhances the level of services that it will be able to offer in the Mid-Atlantic area.

AFM has been in business for nearly 30 years serving the Maryland and Washington DC markets. Founder and owner Rick Matuszak will stay at AFM under AAF International ownership.

“It was clear that Rick and his team were exactly what we were looking for, in terms of how they run the organisation. Rick’s business practices fit precisely in line with AAF International and our tradition of excellence for the past 94 years,” said David Parker, AAF International’s vice president of Commercial & Industrial Sales in North America.

By acquiring AFM, AAF International has strategically positioned itself to maximise opportunities for providing value-added air filtration solutions to the Mid-Atlantic marketplace.

Philip Whitaker, AAF International’s CEO, said: “We look forward to combining the power of AFM’s local presence with the strength of the AAF brand and product range, to drive further growth and success.”

“AAF has great products, such as the Varicel family of filters, and great technology behind their designs. We’re looking forward to bringing AAF’s products to the marketplace,” said Matuszak.
