Cristian Rusch, spokesman for the Carlson board, said: “Brian has done an outstanding job at Carlson. He made the company very productive and highly profitable and has formed an excellent management team. Because of this, it is our pleasure to announce that Brian has accepted an invitation to become chairman of Carlson, succeeding Dr Toni Rusch.”

In this new role, Gabbett will continue to support the Carlson management team.
