The ScaleGard Pro P1175 from 3M retains the original line’s convenient, disposable, quick change cartridge format that is easy to install and change out in just seconds, without having to turn off the water supply. The ScaleGard Pro P1175 is available in two versions, fixed bypass (P1175BN-E) and non bypass (P1175E). The non bypass version enables entry into the steamer market and the fixed bypass version delivers 6,000 litres of hardness reduction at 180 ppm (parts per million) for delivery of consistent, quality drinks in coffee and vending machines. The use of an integral filtered and proportional bypass means all water goes through 3M’s advanced carbon block filter technology.
