Elsevier's Desalination journal will publish a special issue on Nanomaterials for Water Desalination.

For this issue, to be published in 2017, the journal is inviting submissions related to nanomaterials including carbon nanotubes, graphene and its family members, zeolites, molybdenum disulfide, nanoparticles, aquaporin and others which have brought not only novel desalination processes, but also overhauled classical desalination technologies.

In particular, manuscripts on examples of new applications of desalting technologies, novel approaches to membrane design, alternative and novel draw solutions, system design approaches, and scaling phenomena are invited.

The deadline for submission of papers is 30 September 2017.

Submission guidelines

Only original manuscripts can be submitted, according to the Guide for Authors on the Desalination journal website. Authors are invited to follow the link Submit your Paper and submit the manuscript to Article Type 'SI:Nano for Desalination' in Desalination.

Please mention the name of the Special Issue in the cover letter. All manuscripts will be peer reviewed in accordance with the journal's policies.
